Hi Tony

I'm not familiar with PS Elements...
But if you look at all the Preferences options, one of these should tell you where the photos are stored...

The alternative is to google something like
"Photoshop Elements file locations OSX"

Hope this helps
Rob

Hello Rob

I use a card reader, open the Card reader icon on the desktop showing all
photo’s, click on a photo ( RAW File) and PS Elements will open showing the
photo ready for processing.I understood that when I process the Raw image to a
jpeg image,a copy is also made, it is the copies that I am attempting to find.

Thanks Rob

In other words, do you use iPhoto/ Photo to import your photos?

If you do, you'll have to delete them using the app you imported them with, so
the database remains intact.

If, as seems unlikely, you import them directly to a folder, you'll need to
find out where that folder is, then delete the files manually.

Using the preferences for the import app you use should tell you where.

If this doesn't make sense, plug your camera in and write down the steps you
take to import the photos (with screen grabs - oh no - we're not allowed...).
This will help to clarify the situation...

Hi, you open your RAW images in Elements, but what process do you use for
getting the photos off your camera and onto the computer? Are you in control of
where they go? Cheers, Susan

Thanks Susan

I do open my RAW images using Photoshop Elements, so I’ll go look and see where
that leads me.

Enjoy your weekend
