We are in a black spot in Parkwood my ADSL2 on my Bob Wi-Fi is
1.3Mbps at best but we have been promised NBL by January, can
someone please suggest a reliable carrier so that we can obtain
solid and reliable speed. We are currently with Westnet (iinet) but
this system is constantly droppping out just when I want to upload
to my web site, I just can't wait to see speeds you guys are
getting. I am getting bombarded with sign up offers for NBN. We
actually have a satelite dish on our roof provided by the Government
because our network was so poor, now it's just sitting there!
Any help or advice would be welcome

I rarely reach the 50/20 Mbps speeds of my Plan.
My SpeedTest results taken today:
1. Turn Off WI-FI - Connected via Ethernet CAT6 cable directly into
the NBN Termination Box UNI-D 1 Port
Ping Download Upload
4.8ms - 47.6Mbps 18.9Mbps
2. Connected via WI-FI 5GHz Network (3TB Time Capsule)
Ping Download Upload
4.9ms 47.7Mbps 18.9Mbps
3. Turn Off WI-Fi - Connected via Ethernet port on TC
Ping Download Upload
4ms 47.6Mbps 19Mbps
Note: I use and recommend CAT6 Ethernet cables, CAT5e can be used
by CAT6 are faster for Broadband
Also what Neil mentioned and I Quote from Neil's reply:

Yes Neil, the smaller ISPs don't have enough 'Backhaul' to handle
congestion times - a lack of virtual capacity on the network that
slows some connections to a crawl.

Download 11.1 Mbps
Upload 2.47 Mbps
