Hi Ronni I am linked to a FTTP service with IPrimus and they advise me that my speed results are within the accepted range which is up to 12 Mbps. I am currently on a plan that provides 300 Bg of data at $69.90 pm IPrimus did offer me another plan at $90 pm with speeds of 25/5 Mbps but on reflection I find that extra $20 pm hard to justify given the current usage. I have a cable rated Cat 5E. Would it make any difference if I swapped this to a Cat 6?
When my contract with IPrimus expires I will ask a lot more questions of other providers but having said that when I inquired with IPrimus I found there online chat service excellent. With my hearing loss it was much easier than talking to someone in the Phillipines My grandson living in Willetton tells me that the speed available at his home is only 2.2 down and 1 Up so he regards my results as great.
