Hi Severin You can turn off DVD Auto launch as follows - Open DVD Player. Go to the DVD Player menu then Preferences. Under the Player tab, where it says “When a disc is inserted” un-tick “start playing disc”. It used to be a setting you could change in System Preferences, but it’s generally removed on my systems with no DVD player.
But that should stop it for you. Try that and see how you go.
