I have been using Avast Premium for about 2 years and I am very happy with it. Only cost an extra $10.00 for the Family Pack for 3 Macs. So myself, my wife and our daughter use it.
It has warned me on several occasions when an attempt was made to hack my Mac. It also found 3 Malwares on our daughter’s Mac and destroyed them. Of course a skeptic would say that was designed to impress me as a customer.
