I'm pretty excited about helping out on a few ideas i have, though i am having some difficulty starting. Namely, compiling the source available from the downloads section. :) I first tried using VS2005, and that did not compile (i do not have the error at the moment, i can try again later tonight if anyone is interested). Then i attempted to compile in Linux, and the configure script is complaining that i do not have physfs, even though it is in /usr/lib, and is the 1.0 version mentioned in the forums as acceptable. I attempted to register at the forums, but when it goes to send the registration message, it says that an error occurred, and indeed, i never receive a confirmation message. I also tried IRC last night, but there weren't any Linux devs on at the time. (completely understandable) So, i am attempting this method. :) AMD, dual cpu, 32 bit 2 GB of memory nVidia 6800GT 256MB Fedora 7 Windows XP SP2 Tried using the 2.0.9 and 2.0.8 (respectively). Latest drivers in both OS's. The install binaries work perfectly on Windows, and core dumps on Linux (haven't looked in to why yet). -- Jeremy A.
