You need the libraries for that. There is an ancient package I compiled back 
in the day when I was using msvc.

Are you on a 64bit system? Then you need a 32bit library of physfs to build 
warzone2100-2.0*. Or better try the svn version, which is 64bit compatible.

Depends on when your night is. ;) Most of the Warzone-Linux people are from 
Europe.
