so let's say that the reason why the document structu looks so strange
is for the number of optimizations applied, right?

yes i've seen that some binary (hex encoded) buffers appears in the
documents, but i've tought it is a generic (abstract) representation.
Are you sayng that these are Java specific? (sorry, i've not yet found
this part in the docs i've read so far)

I agree that wave should be able to control the details of the
structure of the document in order to be able to perform all the
fantastic things it is able.
