While having a coke with a gentleman at the hospital where I volunteer, we got to talking about my book. It turns out he once rented a car to Don Knotts at the airport in LA back in 1972. He said Don must have just finished working on a film as he was very heavily made up. He said he was so flustered when he saw him, he couldn't think of anything to say, so he just said "hi". So now I know a guy who once saw and talked to Don Knotts in person. Now I think that is BIG.
