When I first began staying at my wife's home place after we were married I was pleasantly surprised one morning when we had pan fried fish for breakfast. There is a small spring fed lake on their land and it is filled with pan fish. My wife said her father always had fried fish for breakfast. I have to admit it was very tasty ;especially when it was fried in a cast iron frying pan like Andy used with Opie.
