To me, the most politically incorrect moment in the series is when the men in the barbershop are ogling Ellen Brown as she gets off the bus. The mayor asks Barney, "Do you think you could handle a girl like that?" and Barney replies, "Well, I'd be inclined to treat a girl like that a little bit rough. They expect it; you know, let 'em know right off who's boss. Rough 'em up a little bit." Of course it is hard to picture Barney roughing up ANYBODY, but the scene is still in bad taste by 2016 standards. It's not surprising that it is cut out of broadcast versions.
