Jac is much better at creating websites than I am, but I admit I have 
learned so much since joining this group. Sometimes I feel overwhelmed 
with learning and just can't get a handle on it, and if it's not 
absolutely imperative that I do it a certain way that I can't 
understand, I go a different route. I really thank the list for all 
the advice and opinions.  I seem to be on a learning slump right now, 
and just can't get into studying, but it could be the heat too. Just 
have to make myself get into asp and css more.

When I first started out a couple of years ago I thought layers were the
business until I viewed them cross browser! and at that early stage I was
too intimidated by my lack of know-how to try to learn how to use them
properly so I could use them reliably. Since then I've always veered away
from layers :o) until this site - it seemed this was the only option open to
me.

Okay Jac,
  I've set up a super simple example at:

the key is using the style:
overflow:auto;
in conjuction with a fixed height and width on the containing div.  If the
content is long enough to require scrolling, it will do so automatically,
otherwise it will look just like normal content.  As far as integrating this
with your site, you'd need to either include the content in the div
dynamically or place it inside the div statically.  It looks like it'd be
easier to do it as an include, since you already have the content on
separate pages.
