I knew my current scanner was a Canon but had to go look at it to get the model for Jac.
I've had several different brands over the years and so far this Canon LIDE 30 is my favorite. It is probably the least expensive as well. I picked it in part because I wanted to use my new scanner on both my PC with Windows XP and my Mac with OS X which ruled out a lot of scanners. Even those that claimed to support both PCs and Macs tended to be 'classic only' when I bought this one last year. Cheryl D.
