Grabbed my other machine, OS - 2K, NAV installed OK but would not run, kept telling me my license had expired and then would close, yet more swearing. Probably enough swearing to make a sailor blush. I have had exactly the same results with other software applications from Symantec, Ie PC Anywhere - their Hell Desk is probably on a par with some of the worst that you can think of. In NZ, Inland Revenue (Tax Dept) and Telecom are considered very bad, but IMHO Symantec are MUCH worse.
I have now managed to sell the disks, thus recouping a bit of the money I have spent, but have vowed I will never again buy any Symantec products.
Maybe I was just having a Very Bad Hair Day - Yeah right ! ! !
I would be interested to know if this was just an isolated incident, at the time I wondered if it wasn't something to do with XP & 2K, but on mature reflection ??? I am not so sure.
