Yes, there are other programs that have disappeared. Companion Link is one of them. My boss eventually downloaded another copy but the shortcuts and the programs under Start -> Programs disappear. I have looked in Windows Explorer to find it, but there is not listing for IE under Programs or Windows.

It's really hard to say why it would have disappeared.  Are there other
things that have disappered as well?  Sometimes I have seen end-users
accidentally click the wrong buttons, etc.  Not saying that is the case, but
unless you are there when it happens, it's hard to say.
