The original question - properly "re-phrased" - would have been more towards "coding" the email address links - whether to use a script to encrypt them, or not to program them in a link at all. I don't see how you can't have an email address on a website. OK, I see how you can do it, but that's a very frustrating thing when I go to a site is not being able to find a way to email them. I just wasn't sure what the best practice is, and whether the bots scan for the mailto tags, or the actual content on the page.
