I stand to be corrected here, but I don't believe it's possible to interchange file 
dimensions in Javascript "image rollovers".  And trust me, I've tried.

The closest I've seen to such an effect is a bit of a kludge, where one image 
*appears* to be of a different size than the subsequent one, because white space 
(transparency) has been left around one image or the other.  (i.e., though both 
images may in fact be, say, 100x200, one might have only 50x50 visible, the rest 
being transparent.) So you could conceivably create your alternating 
horizontal/vertical effect this way, depending on your requirements.

But I've yet to see a rollover script that encompasses images of different actual 
dimensions.  Anyone?
