Well, as I pointed out earlier tonite -- I'm working with Cold Fusion
Application Server, which runs native on NT and Solaris. The development
environment is NT, Solarias -- but applications can be "developed" in CF
Studio on a Mac running Win95. I think it's a pretty darn good tool.

I'm contributing to the general education of "new" designers by having them
at least look at web sites on different browsers with different default
settings (vo tech college environment). But I'm stuck in Win95 mode because
that's the only computers that the lab has. At least I'm creating awareness.

Font choices?

face="arial,helvetica"
face="times, times new roman"

This gets unix/wintel/mac

Color rendering -- 216 browser safe color works for wintel/mac but doesn't
for Unix because it has a different (more adaptive?) palette. Browser safe
UNIX color seems to be a nonsequiter, at least on HP-UNIX machines that I'm
working with.

Just in case your comment was literal and not rhetorical.
