This is a worry. I have played with that microsoft .hqx and .idc file DB
system. and found that it only did a tiny bit of what CF would do.

I totally agree with your observations on CF and I also find it very quick
and easy. I am doing a project at the moment that started as a pure MS
Access program. All the DB structure, queries, reports and forms where done
by another guy. This was very easy to turn into CF as all the relational DB
and SQL stuff was done for me.

A server of mine was one such victim of this. Version 3.1 has a problem
with releasing processes when under heavy load. They now have 3.1.1 out to
fix that. It wasn't present in other versions. We still have to reboot that
server every day to minimise the problem. It is a very heavily used server.
I have V3.1 on my development NT server next to me, but as I'm the only
user, it hasn't had that problem.
