Did he know the truth and was covering it up, or was he just a numbskull?
The Glassdog site http://www.glassdog.com/ has a section called "Overheard"
that has some other funny, though usually off-topic, stories. It's a framed
site, so you have to navigate to the "Overheard" link. There must be otehr
sites like that out there, too. In San Francisco I hear many humorous
computer conversations going on at the dinner table next to me, or wherever.
"I bought a book about Windows 95, but I still can't figure out how to make
email in Printshop", etc.
