As some of you may recall, I'm new on the Mac platform. I am seeking
opinions about the best FTP application. I have tried out Fetch 3.03, and
while it does some neat tricks, compared to the PC program WS_FTP it is
sorely lacking IMO. The latter displays side-by-side windows showing your
local files and the remote directories, making it very easy to see what
needs updating remotely. It's a great interface. I find Fetch somewhat
tedious in how many steps are required to upload files. It is also odd that
Fetch doesn't show you the file creation dates for your local files. In
WS_FTP all this is available. And if you sort by date you can instantly see
what you have changed recently that needs uploading.
At http://db.tidbits.com/ I found an old Jan. 94 article about an FTP app
called Anarchie, but don't find any recent references. So my question is,
what do you Mac people out there use for FTP and why do you like it?
Thanks.
