Gary, I think you are correct. The window will not refresh unless you force
it to by using the pulldown menu at the top.

One things I haven't figured out yet: once you've setup a bookmark, how do
you modify it? For some reason, one of my ftp bookmarks always asks me for
the password, yet 5 others I've set up do not. I don't know why, and want
to try to 'force' it to take the password. There must be a way to open and
edit and existing bookmark.
