You can also try the 'no-cache' meta attribute:

<META HTTP-EQUIV="Pragma" CONTENT="no-cache">

... this works fairly well with Netscape, but I'm not sure about MSIE.  In 
my case it even works when I'm working strictly from my local drive: NS 
just will not cache any part of a page that has the above meta thingy in 
the header.

But of course I would not for a moment vouch for its efficacy on anyone 
else's system, sigh.  Worth a try though.
