Oh yes. I would be dead without filters. I have a file for
major sections (i.e., marketing, consulting, profession\al,
international, etc) and a box for every newslist (even those I
unsubbed from) within those groups and a box for other stuff.
Anything that doesn't fall into a filtered box automatically goes
to a spam box, where I can review subject or from whom, before
deleting. It works well. If somebody sends me a message that is
not addressed to a list address or to me, then it must be spam.
Eudora Pro does a great job with filters and handling multiple accounts.
I used to count the number of messages received by list, but
stopped that in May (when my shrink cured my OCD problem).
That's how I knew I was averaging 537 message a day. WCA, BTW is
the second most active list, with Market-L being the most active.
