I've not been paying much attention to this thread, but got curious so I
checked it out. My thought would be to link all the graphics on the first
page to the next, rather than just Defiance. It takes awhile to discover
that Defiance is a link; it's not very intuitive.

Copy of intro.html could use some better editing. It's a little wordy and
obtuse. For instance, "As long and as early as four or five years back,"
could be simply, "Four or five years ago." Also, it's a personal thing, but
I strongly dislike the use of italics in html type. The way it renders is
really ugly.
