Thanks to Kathy, Jack and others for pointing me in the direction of SSI
information.

I'm experimenting with Server Side Includes for the first time. I believe I
have followed the instructions on my web hosting service SSI support page
at http://www.simplenet.com/ssi.html but the SSI I am trying does not seem
to be behaving the way it is supposed to.

In a test page I have put up at
http://www.asiandiver.com/index-test.shtml

 I have the following code:

<!--#config timefmt="%d %B" --><!--#echo var="DATE_LOCAL" -->

This should display the day of the month and the full month name only. But
what I see in my browser is

   22 August PDT

I thought that I had to use the %Z variable to show the time zone. I don't
want the time zone, I only want the day and month name. I don't understand
where it is coming from.

Any ideas? Thanks for your assistance.

Best regards,
Barry
