Just a note to warn you of a problem we've been having with United Parcel
Service. We sold a used bike to a guy in Massachusetts for $700 and shipped
it COD via UPS. Today, after numerous phone calls to UPS, we finally
received a check, after UPS's corporate office in New York sat on our funds
for nearly 6 weeks. It appears that the COD payment was made out to UPS,
then UPS simply collected interest on our money for over a month. Very
unethical, IMHO.
If you must ship something COD, I recommend using FedEx instead, as I've
noticed that when we receive COD packages via FedEx, the driver immediately
drops our check into an overnight envelope for next day delivery to the
shipper.
