My best friend's mother died about three weeks ago. Her mother
died leaving several bank accounts across southern California. The
problem is that she had the banks hold her statements so now there
is at least $200,000 scattered in an unknown number of banks.
Does anyone know anyway to track lost bank accounts? Is there
one agency that keeps track of these accounts?
