I will be moving almost all of the files from the directory I get
free from my ISP. I want visitors to automatically go to my
permanent new site address, so I figured I would leave a
Redirect command in my .htaccess file in the top directory of
my previous location. However ... (isn't there always a
however?) I have one subdirectory that contains a webboard
that is accessed by another site. I would like visitors to still be
able to use it where it is.

Now, the question ... I know an .htaccess file will control down
through the directory structure until it sees another .htaccess
file - is there a command I can put it an .htaccess file in the
subdirectory to override the Redirect from the top directory file?

Thanks for any help.

Ann
