I think it is important to distinquish which OS IE4 and Outlook Express are
installed on. I have run IE 4 on NT4 svc pack 3 for around 7-8 (?) months
and have found it to be more stable than NS4v.01,02,03,04 or IE3. NS3 is
very solid, though. I ran Outlook Express for 2-3 months and found it quite
solid, crashed less than Outlook 98 and never gave me any of the problems
you describe.

So, are you using Win 95 or NT? I have not heard good things about IE 4 on
Win95.
