SSI files are part of the "page" sent to a spider. They will be a
part of the page and the spider has no idea that ssi is used -- nor
should it matter.
But a site I am watching is NOT GETTING ANY HITS from search engines.
It is completely framed. I would have expected at least some sites
to index the page. Now that I think of it I cannot recall the last
time I was went to a framed site from a search.
Does anyone have a framed site that is doing well in the search
engines. If so do you not have a page such as this which will prove
it:
http://www.rede.com/stats/top50.html
from that page you can see where rede.com is getting hits from (since
the last log reset).
