Thanks everyone for your recommendations of IPPs.

I have recommended Minerva to the client after recommendations by several
different list members, because they have several capabilities, such as
ColdFusion, chat and forum support that my client may need at some time in
the future, and because they provide weekly WebTrends reports. The way I
look at it, it's better for an IPP to offer *more* than you need so that
you don't have to change IPPs later to get upgraded services.

On recommendation of several members of the Spiderwoman list, I also
suggested Interland.net in Atlanta as a second option. They are reputed to
give excellent customer support, even on holiday weekends. I wrote them
with questions and they provided a quick, thorough and courteous reply.
Like Minerva, they also provide WebTrends reports. Interland's reports are
updated twice weekly.

I imagine we'll end up with Minerva but I'd feel good about either choice.

Also, FYI, we were able to pull a fast save on the problem with the TLC
site being down by getting all the banners on WebRing pointed to the mirror
site temporarily. I'm glad we were able to do that, as I was just sick at
the thought of 700-800 people a day going to an empty directory.

Suz
