If they don't know, it's probably reasonable to assume they're 640 x 480
since they obviously won't know how to change it. And most of the shelf
systems come set at 640x480x256 as a standard.
Then again, I could be totally wrong. And as always, it really depends
on the market segment you're targetting. I'm about to spend a heap of
dollars finding out exactly how my customers access and use the web.
