Yeah, I've looked at a bunch of stuff. This list is largely one-way.
Subs come from a remote website via email, linked to a user-manageable
account. Sub and unsub will be handled by form submission in user
profiles. Kind of a no-brainer interface.
Only one fixed address can send to list. One message a day, large global
distribution.
Many ways to handle it, but the fact that Majordomo is in PERL, has the
admin capability, and is something I can contract out to Mike to modify
makes it a pretty good choice :) My only concern is if we get to 10K+
subscribers too fast and need to scale . . . but that can be
kludged-around one way or another.
