Boy do I love Microsofts great "32 bit" OSes. I have a paper to write, but
do you think I will be able to write it at home? I doubt I will.
It seems that 98 doesn't like WordPerfect anymore and decides no matter what
I do to cause errors. Though not the "OE Blue Screens Of Death" I have
grown to love and adore <puke> these are highly disruptive to my abality to
do work.
It seems that 70% of my NON-MS apps will crash or fault out and 30% of my MS
apps will falut or OE out on me. If MicroSloth wants work domination, they
had better just kill me off right now cuz I will do my damdest to bring them
down of their "pole". I have never seen shitty, unstable beta software till
Windows 95 came out, then their "improved" OS made things even worse.
I am ready to dig back into my backups and reinstall Win 3.11 .. it is by
far the best OS MicroSloth ever made of all of them. If not for other work
I do with graphics and such I would have linux running on here again and
dump all this unstable alpha software (Windows and IE4). Well, at least in
2 months I'll be able to dual boot to Linux and Windows.
Maybe I will get an iMac sooner than I though, at least they don't %#$^#^ me
off like this blasted windows is lately. I set it up and tell it to keep
the settings and the first thing it does when I reboot is go back to what IT
wants.
Ok, got it out ... I guess I will just have to write the paper tomorrow in
BBedit, at least I know that works and won't crash every time I want to
save.
