Please don't say that. I prefer all of you lie and tell me a degree will
be the starting point of a wonderful life etc... etc... etc...
I'm trying to take my degree in physics. I've taken evry lesson from
QM to spettroscopy...
I think those things are really interesting and I would like to spend
all of my time buying books and reading... very often I don't find
the answer some courses should give and I would like to spend
more time on books to find out them.
But I have to prepare an exam rather than increase my knowledge
these seems to be really different things.
And for future career... well... a career in the university is like a
career in politics here.
I've visited a lot of workplace where a physicist may be employed
but actually from my experience... when you arrive there what
you've learned in the university is thrown away and they will teach
what you'll have to do there.
I've aquired a lot of knowledge my colegues don't have just out of
the university and these kind of knowledge seems to be much
more helpful to solve real problems.
Maybe the problem is that now even graduated people don't have
anymore to solve problem but just to do things.
Please... all of you graduated Ph.D., professor etc... just lie and
tell me a degree is a WONDERFUL things....
