There could be all kinds of reasons why your site displayed as it did.
I have one of those dreaded MACs. Why don't you give us the URL and
let us MAC users see what we can 'MAC' out of it?
Of course, without even looking at the site my suggestion is that you
test any site on various platforms and browsers. I learned that lesson
when I designed a site on my MAC and then viewed on the client's machine
which was one of those WINDOWS jobbies and everything looked really ugly:
dark, dull, muddy. I since learned to correct my gamma on my MAC
to match the dimmness of the typical WINDOWS machine.
