Thanks to all who responded on and off the list.

As several pointed out UNIX doesnt _require_ lowercase file names, 
but our admin guys prefer it that way. The real problem was that the 
development was done in a case insensitive environment, with scant 
regard for case ie the links didnt work.

Most suggested I use HomeSite - which I do a bit, for extended search 
and replace. The trouble is I didnt have a list of file names, and 
the number of file names that needed to be changed was now 3000 not 
300 ! The problem was solved by one of the tech guys writing a short 
program especially to do the job.

My already dim view of FrontPage was made even dimmer!
