I don't have admin experience with this kind of setup, but I do have a 
cautionary tale.  One of my ad networks, Safe Audit, uses a Cold 
Fusion/NT system to manage their banner program.  Over the past two or 
three months they have had massive scalability problems.  It's been so 
bad that they've lost incoming email, been down completely for hours at 
a time, and missed processing significant amounts of traffic.  I don't 
know at what level they started experiencing problems, but it might be 
worth contacting them to see if you can get some feedback.  Main site
