I had to search to find any search. Perhpas it makes more sense to a
boat person. When I chose to view all they put all the responses in
one BIG table. They should have broke that table up. For every 5
responses create a new table and thus data starts to flow sooner.

I don't know how in the world adding a simple searchable database
could double the price.

Cost of development tools (that you now must buy): 0.00
(perl, textpad, cute-ftp,telnet)
I have seen designers spend hours and hours on just getting the look
just right (as per whatever browser they use). I see untold time
wasted in meetings where half the people have no clue what the other
half are saying yet no one asks a question.
Just give me the views you want to see. Give me the data. I can
easily create a database for this purpose.
(know what data you are working with)
Create the form you want people to use.
Create the results views (ah ... all of them...like not found etc.).
Give me the data.
The actual programming work is generally pretty simple. The hard
part is determining what you really want to do.
I can't see how this database could double the price of the site
unless you are charging far too little or you have no idea of what
implementing the database would cost.
