I just doubt this. I think NT can be used.
I am using hotbot quite a lot now and I know they switched to NT. I
have not had any trouble with their service. Just to verify they
were on NT I used Netcraft which said that these companies also used
NT (unless Microsoft-IIS runs on a non-windows platform)

The disney site has always worked well for me.
I hate to be a defender of NT and windows but I think Rich's
statement is off target.
I think that perhaps you might say that an NT solution might be far
costlier upfront, it might require more administration, but can you
really say it is not doable?
My personal preference is philosophical as much as practical. I
prefer any open-source solution.
I have never developed any solutions on NT. I am sure there are
people here who do both. What are your objective perceptions? Do you
prefer to develop for NT or for Unix/Linux in practical terms as
opposed to philosophical? And why?
Peter
ps, of course this may be beating a dead horse again but I still find
this interesting. please ignore if it does not interest you.
