You're welcome to your opinion. I strongly disagree, and consider
even the suggestion that NT be used to provide Internet services prima
facie evidence of massive incompetence. Good grief, haven't you been
paying attention? NT is by now so discredited that only those people who
are compelled to use it (by force of business relationhip or career
preservation or sheer ignorance) do so.

And Hotmail still runs Solaris because their experience with NT was
a disaster. And have you noticed how many servers at Microsoft identified
themselves as Solaris until this was widely publicized and the identifying
strings were removed? Compaq? Runs an awful lot of Linux. Nasdaq? Lots
of Suns. *Lots*. Don't know about the NFL, and don't know who Tesco is.

Yes. I've spent quite a bit of time over the past few years bailing
out people who were foolish enough to attempt projects based on NT,
and have found that Unix/Linux solutions frequently enable them to get
to their goal (including the time needed to back out of the NT plan)
much faster than NT -- if NT can get them there at all.
