But:
Alas, my client insists he has no 'Tools > Options >> Styled Text'
menu category. '>> Fonts', yes, '>> display', yes, but neither of them
comes with a 'plain text radio' button.

He has a brand new Eudora installation. What an outrage that such a
program comes with a default configuration that violates
netiquette. If this is really the case. I haven't seen the machine nor 
spoken with the sysop (who looked into it but didn't manage to make
the darn thing behave, either).

Anybody else have a clue what's going on here?
