Hello, folks,
I am in the middle of building a computer and hadn't decided on an
operating system yet. So I thought who better to ask than those who use
computers similar to how I use them�Web development, graphics, accounting,
email and the occasional therapeutic 3D shoot 'em up.
My network currently has a Ret Hat Linux gateway and 2 Win95 boxes. My
manager is getting me NT workstation for work, so I thought I'd get Win98
for the new PC in my home/office for the experience. I've heard both good
and bad about Win98. Where I teach, someone installed the 98 degrade which
performs fair to middling.
Would anyone care to comment on their least favorite of the 2 M$ products?
Note: Linux users can gloat over the fact that I do have Red Hat installed
on a box that is going like gang busters along side 3 MS boxes. hehe.
