Around 2/6 or so was when the InterNIC was in the height of the problems... I
have registered and modified domains within 2-5 days in the past week, and last
week, I actually had less than 24 hours turn around time. Your web host should
CALL the InterNIC - other than being put on hold (which isn't so bad if you have
a speaker phone), I've found them to be rather responsive to human beings.
(NOTE: this isn't a defense of the InterNIC, but a suggestion on how to ammend
the current issue...)
