New versions of Ubuntu always break things, I am starting to think using the latest and greatest isn't always the best solution especially with the Ubuntu distro. PS: 12.10 desktop also caused my video card driver to stop working, so it wouldn't surprise me if they changed something else. Probably a package name is different again.
