We have found that once a cost analysis of the actual process of implmentation
has been done, the cost of building and maintaining a site with WebObjects is
generally less-- even with an up-front charge of $50,000 and a premium charge
for developer time.

Still this is a hard selling point in that there are very few people in the
industry that understand that the actual process by which a particular solution
is realized is both the primary cost center (people, time, resources, etc) and
that the actual licensing costs of the software are one-time and relatively
minor.
