Just to avoid confusion, can you clarify... The last time around (2007/169) there was no 'conf.d' directory. There was some discussion here earlier about adding one (or renaming extra to conf.d) but from what I saw it died down without any closure. So, are you reviving the proposal of adding a and/or renaming to conf.d?
