  I don't know about a conf.d directory, but I too would like a default
  httpd.conf so that

  # svcadm enable apache2
  
  is all that needs to be done to get a basic Apache 2 server running
  from /var.  (And, wearing my community advocacy hat, I think we
  should, like some other distros, change the stock index.html to have a
  logo from and a link back to opensolaris.org...)
