Chasing my issue, decided to remove some old extensions I wasn’t using. Rtldavis, sdr, fileparse. Removed the blocks from the now uninstalled extensions. During that process, the whole station block in weewx.conf seems to have been removed (unclear if extension uninstall did this, or me on accident)? Copied that back in from a backup. and fired up weewx.
No change in processing speed. The only other thing of interest is I have weewx doing loop_request=3 since some values aren’t in loop 1 and some aren’t in loop 2 (I think it was battery voltage info that isn’t in loop 2). Not sure what other things there might be. Happy to provide my weewx.conf if that would be helpful. Tom, if you’re testing on an M1, and I think Vince is testing on a Pi 5, could we be seeing some lack of certain hardware capabilities in the graph processing? Otherwise, I can grab Seasons from source and try dropping that in to see if maybe there’s something wonky with the version I have. Most of the files appear to be dated early 2022 except skin.conf, font, lang, and NOAA directories… but the files inside are also early 2022. Thanks. It was fixed quite a number of weeks ago, or so it seemed at the time that is. I cannot duplicate what you ran into, and everything works as expected with no errors seen here. * started with a clean deb system * installed v4 dpkg via the procedure for that * added one extension via wee_extension * restarted weewx v4 - the extension works fine with no errors seen * upgraded to v5 rc1 per that procedure, taking the default answers when prompted * restarted weewx v5 - the extension still works fine with no errors seen * and the old user tree under /usr/share/weewx was renamed to be user.yyyymmddhhmmss as expected You're going to have to precisely document step-by-step exactly how you made something break in order for somebody to be able to work the issue if you're still having it. -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "weewx-development" group.
